I forgot I had a blog.... that's pretty fuckin sad. And I need to start knitting again! I miss it. Been so busy between work kids boyfriend WoW I really haven't had the time to knit. Made my boyfriend some wrist warmers this spring, that's been about it for the knitting. UGH I'm a slacker!
Maybe I'll actually remember I have this thing and use it more often!

Non Knitting Blather
Great Gods above... What is WRONG with people in Texas and Ohio? I mean I know Rhode Islanders are kinda fucked up, and Texans well... we won't go there now will we? The village lost their idiot 8 years ago and smartened up just a slight bit, but not enough to count.
Ok Ohio, talk about being stereotypical.
"College educated people tend to vote for Obama"
So I'm against the norm, I'm not college complete. But I certainly didn't vote for Hillary. Apparently people in Ohio don't listen to the issues, they listen to falsities and take them as truth, and listen to lies and accept them to be real.
I mean if you LOOK at Hillary's shit, it makes no sense.
But apparently that doesn't matter in Ohio.
I almost EXPECT that from Texas.
Pretty Pathetic Ohio. I expected better of you. I guess I thought wrong.

Update since the 4th
So I've had a lot going on!
Here are some completed projects since my last post:
A cute little dishcloth (pattern found on Ravelry):

I finished the skinny cable scarf I'd started (as a challenge on Craftster.org to do something I have never tried before):

And here are my WIPs!!
A nice shawl from the 101 OneSkein Wonders (its more than a skein for it to be long though!)

And fingerless gloves for Alex (got one done)

I frogged the stupid legwarmers. They we're looking like they were gonna fit properly... damn my legs :(

Caliente Calorimetry Complete!
Well Its finished. Odd sized, but finished!

I did it exactly as the pattern said, even gauged the fucking thing, but... well.. its too big around. and a bit too wide for my taste. I'm using it, cuz I don't have a hat, but the button is on the 3rd hole.

I do love the yarn though!
Maybe I'll try a gentle wash to try to shrink it up a bit.

Sexiness in Knitting
Well sort of! I'm working on 2 projects at the moment, and once one of these is done I'll be starting another!
First is a pair of sexy legwarmers out of the Stitch 'N Bitch Nation book. I'm using Plymouth Yarn's Galway - both 100% Wool for the dark color, and Colornep (90% wool, 10% Polyester) for the lighter CC:

Next is a beuatiful headband thing from Knitty.com's Winter 06 issues called Calorimetry. I am using a different yarn than suggested in the pattern. It gauges around the same but I have no idea what the yarn is, it was given to me. I know its a wool blend, that's all. BUT it looks wonderful, so screw it:

Once I'm done with Calorimetry I will be starting up on a gift for a friend of mine who made an amazing accomplishment in her and her son's life. Its Hannah Hat! except it will be a dark dried blood color, since Shelby dear is a gothy mama :)

Finished Bag!!
Its done! YAY!
My hubby sewed me up a liner, next time I know to stitch the liner to the pieces before putting it all together. Otherwise, I'm in love :)

Tyr's Cell Phone Case
Well if Tyr had a cell phone, I'm sure he'd have one with his symbol on it ;)
Here's the WIP picture:

And on to the finished goodness! I must say thanks to the Anticraft team for the chart (from the Curse your Boyfriend sweater pattern) and their website is on my knitting links to the left!
This is a wool cell phone holder, 16 sts across, just a sock, then I knitted a handle with button holes (just a simple k2tog and yo) and buttoned it on!

Any feedback is appreciated!
